Advertisers can now boost brand recall through videos ads that play on any device

The addition of these mobile units comes close on the heels of the launch of twenty-one new, desktop-specific, rich-media units the company added to its video capabilities last month. The announcement is another step towards further enhancing the capabilities of Komli Media’s video advertising network, Komli Play. According to an IAMAI projection, of the 232 million active internet users in India in Dec 2014, 173 million (or 75%) would have accessed the internet through their mobile phones. This coupled with the fact that 76% of urban and 86% of rural internet active users claim to use the medium for entertainment, including listening to music and watching videos, is an indication of how quickly the internet could begin challenging the dominance of the television as the preferred audio-visual advertising medium.
